Position Summary: Responsible for administering and performing specialized work, as well as supervising technicians for the maintenance and repair of systems, facilities, buildings, and equipment. Evaluation and recommendation of improvements for industrial equipment. **Maintenance Supervisor** DEPARTMENT: Maintenance LOCATION: Ramos Arizpe Plant SUMMARY: Responsible for administering and/or performing specialized work, as well as supervising technicians’ work, for the maintenance and repair of systems, facilities, buildings, and equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Installation, repair, maintenance, disassembly, and relocation of large and/or complex industrial equipment. * Servicing and repairing equipment and maintaining its spare parts. * Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical). * Evaluating and recommending equipment improvements to enhance availability, capacity, and performance. * Conducting equipment failure analysis (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance). * Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems. * Preparing technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Experience in industrial maintenance. * Experience in supervising technical personnel. * Preparation of commercial technical proposals for engineering projects. * Experience with AutoCAD software. * Experience with MS Project software. * Experience with CAD/CAM software. * Experience executing maintenance on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, buildings, and primary services. * Proficiency in cutting and welding. * Proficiency in metrology, mechanical adjustments, motion and power transmission systems. * Knowledge of PLC automation, sensors, actuators, safety chains, and safety relays. * Intermediate-level knowledge of pneumatics. * Intermediate-level knowledge of hydraulics. * Knowledge of weighing equipment, scales, load cells, weight indicators, and scale calibration. * Knowledge of lubrication and automatic lubrication systems. * Knowledge of dust collector operation. * Knowledge of reading electrical control diagrams. * Use of appropriate tools for preventive and predictive alignment and assembly tasks (Vernier calipers, belt gauges, hydraulic presses for bearing installation, bearing pullers, torque wrenches). * Execution, continuous review, and implementation of lockout/tagout procedures. * Teamwork, supervision of contractors and external suppliers. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Experience with SAP ERP software, maintenance transactions, expense control, and requisitions. * Operation of multifunctional equipment.
