Job Summary: We are seeking a Production Leader responsible for directing operators to achieve production, efficiency, quality, and safety targets while maintaining a safe and friendly work environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and motivate production teams toward efficiency and quality goals. 2. Maintain a safe and friendly work environment. 3. Set priorities and provide direct support on the production line. Production Leader Position Required Responsibilities: * Responsible for leading a group of production operators to meet production, efficiency, quality, and safety targets. * Responsible for ensuring and maintaining the safety of assigned operators. * Responsible for handling confidential information objectively and discreetly. * Authorized to lead and guide a group of production operators to meet production, efficiency, quality, and safety targets. * Authorized to foster and maintain a safe and friendly environment with all subordinates. * Responsible for keeping production reports up to date and maintaining hourly contact with direct subordinates to ensure daily production requirements are met. Reports results from the just-completed shift and ensures the next shift has necessary information to follow up on pending items. * Executes production plans and programs according to established timelines. * Leads personnel under supervision and sets team performance objectives. * Collaborates with the Production Supervisor to establish priorities and adjustments based on the weekly production schedule. Works directly on the production line to reinforce operations when operator, machine, and/or material shortages occur. * Records personnel efficiency metrics and provides performance feedback to staff. Requirements: * Requires in-depth technical knowledge of the assigned area. * Requires knowledge of measurement systems. * Interpretation of MIPS or visual aids. * Basic knowledge of Zebra system. * Completed high school education.
