Develops staff skills The Production Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the company’s production activities by efficiently managing allocated resources to ensure required quality levels. Profile: Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering degree. Experience in the printing and packaging industry. Knowledge of machinery and processes relevant to the industry. Alignment with safety standards. Knowledge of ISO 9001, FSC, and Lean Manufacturing. Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as Production Manager. Responsibilities: \- Monitor production according to the production schedule generated by Planning, ensuring timely and accurate execution. \- Execute production in accordance with product quality standards and customer requirements. \- Maintain and supervise proper material usage based on planning for each production order. \- Promote continuous improvement in production and implement Lean Manufacturing principles across processes. \- Foster a 5S culture among team members. \- Collaborate closely with Planning, Safety, and Quality departments to ensure smooth operations within the production area. \- Comply with safety and hygiene guidelines in all work areas. \- Adhere to preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. \- Develop a staff skills matrix to create training plans and encourage the professional development of each team member. \- Control operational costs (waste, overtime, overruns, inventory). \- Participate in new product development committees.
