Review of Documentation and Flight-Related Information* Verify boarding gate assignments, first-class vouchers, and any other additional information provided by the supervisor or airline representative. * Pay close attention to the pre-flight briefing. Counter Opening* Report to counters according to the time required by the client prior to aircraft arrival. * Ensure counters are clean and ready to begin check-in. * Confirm availability of necessary paperwork to initiate check-in. * Where applicable, place airline- and aviation authority-required notices and/or information on the counter. Check-in* Review passenger documentation per airline policies. * Assign seats via automated system or manually. * Weigh baggage and, if excess is detected, apply the applicable fee collection procedure per airline policy. * Issue boarding passes and baggage tags. * Efficiently complete the entire check-in process. Ticketing* Collect payment for tickets, excess baggage, and other applicable fees per airline policy. * Safeguard funds resulting from ticket sales and other airline-related collections. Disembarkation* Verify availability of information regarding disembarkation belts and passengers with special needs before proceeding to the final waiting area. * Coordinate delivery of wheelchairs, strollers, and other passenger-owned equipment traveling in the bulk compartment. * Announce completion of disembarkation via radio. Boarding* Verify availability of required client- and company-provided paperwork and equipment for boarding. * Initiate boarding at the time required by the client, making applicable announcements. * Apply applicable security procedures. * Keep relevant stakeholders informed about boarding closure progress and other pertinent information. Flight Closure* Close the flight within the timeframe established by the client. * Inform staff in lounges about any last-minute passengers. * Apply security procedures for passengers who fail to board. * Generate applicable reports and paperwork for submission to the supervisor or airline representative.
