At Swissport, our core values—Demonstrate Care, Do the Right Thing, and Win as a Team—guide everything we do, and we are currently seeking dedicated individuals who align with these values to join our teams across various locations worldwide. **Job Summary** Supervise and control ground flight operations. **Your Responsibilities:** Flight Control* Transmit/receive/distribute operational messages according to prior agreements with the customer. * Timely communication to operational and administrative departments, as well as external customers, regarding changes that may affect flight planning and resource allocation. * Manage air-to-ground communications to ensure timely and reliable information is provided to flight crews. Flight Roster / Slot Coordination* Prepare and update the flight roster, distributing it to relevant operational and administrative departments. * Coordinate slots with the appropriate authority promptly and accurately to ensure landing, servicing, and departure in accordance with scheduled timetables. * Manage air-to-ground communications to ensure timely and reliable information is provided to flight crews. Weight and Balance Preparation* Perform weight and balance calculations reliably, following each customer’s specific procedures. * Implement last-minute changes and communicate updates to involved departments. * Archive and store flight documentation per company and customer policies, adhering strictly to prescribed timelines and formats. Flight Supervision * Plan flights based on received operational messages, and inform ramp personnel and other departments about required equipment and staff for service delivery. Pre-flight briefing to the PIC.* Supervise aircraft loading and general aircraft services to ensure safety and operational effectiveness throughout the aircraft’s time on the ground until arrival at its next destination. * Verify that operational procedures across various departments are executed per customer requirements. Flight Plan Coordination * Coordinate flight plans promptly and accurately to ensure aircraft departure authorization as scheduled. * Store resulting documentation within established timeframes. ULD and Customer Supplies Control* Maintain ULD inventory and submit reports within timeframes specified by the customer. * Maintain stationery and equipment inventories according to required maximum and minimum levels.
