




Job Summary: The Letter Officer is responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, and electrification of illuminated signs, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manufacturing and assembly of letters for illuminated signs. 2. Installation of lighting systems and electrical wiring. 3. Ensuring quality and safety in production processes. **Job Objective:** The Letter Officer will be responsible for performing technical activities related to the manufacturing, assembly, and electrification of light-box letters and illuminated signs, ensuring that each component meets established quality, safety, and efficiency standards in the production process. **Main Responsibilities:** 1\. **Letter Forging:** o Forge letters using appropriate equipment and tools to achieve the required shape, adhering to design specifications and dimensions. o Ensure correct alignment and precision during forging of letter structures. 2\. **Riveting and Assembly:** o Perform riveting and assembly of letters, joining individual components to ensure structural rigidity and durability. o Verify that letter connections are secure and correctly aligned per technical drawings. 3\. **Letter Molding:** o Apply the letter molding process (installation of acrylic or other suitable trim materials) according to project design requirements. o Ensure trim materials fit perfectly onto forged letters and that the final product’s aesthetics meet specifications. 4\. **Electrification and Wiring:** o Install lighting and electrical wiring systems in light-box letters and illuminated signs, ensuring proper illumination functionality. o Conduct operational tests of electrical systems, inspecting LED installations, cables, and connections to confirm compliance with safety regulations. o Verify adherence to quality and safety standards when handling electrical equipment. 5\. **Quality Inspection:** o Conduct periodic inspections during and after the manufacturing process to ensure letters and illuminated signs are defect-free and comply with technical and aesthetic specifications. o Correct any defects or errors in the production process and immediately report issues to supervisors. 6\. **Preventive Maintenance and Basic Repairs:** o Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on tools and equipment used in letter forging, riveting, electrification, and molding processes. o Identify and report equipment maintenance needs or potential failures. **Requirements:** · **Education:** Completed secondary education. Technical training in electricity or higher education is a plus. · **Experience:** o Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, and electrification of illuminated signs, or related advertising signage production work. · **Technical Skills:** o Knowledge of forging, riveting, electrification, and molding processes for materials such as aluminum, acrylic, and plastic. o Ability to operate hand tools and specialized machinery including sanders, cutters, bending machines, channel staplers, cutting machines, and edge polishers. o Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and lighting systems for illuminated signs. **Personal Competencies:** · Ability to follow technical instructions and read design blueprints. · Capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team. · Strong time management and organizational skills in production settings. · Accountability and focus on meeting quality and safety standards. · Proactive attitude and problem-solving ability.
