




Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior EHS Engineer to diagnose, assess, and report on chemical and physical agents in the workplace environment, lead safety procedures, and support procurement of equipment. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, assess, and notify the coordinator when the following chemical agents are present in the workplace: dust, fibers, gases, and vapors—enabling implementation of improvement plans and controls. Identify, assess, and notify the coordinator when the following physical agents are present in the workplace: noise, lighting, thermal comfort, vibrations, and radiation—enabling implementation of improvement plans and controls. Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) associated with equipment, machinery, tools, materials, electricity, etc. Monitor completion of Safety Logbooks in the absence of the coordinator. Lead the development of newly created procedures. Lead updates to the Training Matrix. Assist in submission/collection of documentation to governmental authorities. Evaluate and recommend procurement of safety and personal protective equipment, as well as environmental prevention, protection, and control materials and equipment for various company departments. Verify activities performed by EHS Technicians during the absence of the EHS Coordinator. Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree / Engineering. Basic English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Knowledge of and ability to interpret Mexican regulatory requirements. Familiarity with ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications.
