**At Courtyard** ***by Marriott*** **Las Ánimas**, we are seeking a lifeguard committed to safety, prevention, and guest service—capable of responding promptly to any risk situation in the pool area. We seek a responsible, attentive individual with a valid certification who contributes to delivering a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests through constant surveillance and strict adherence to established safety protocols. **Position Objective:** Ensure the safety and physical integrity of guests and visitors in the pool area by maintaining constant surveillance, preventing risks, and responding promptly to emergency situations—ensuring compliance with the hotel’s established safety, hygiene, and service standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Continuously monitor the swimming pool area and adjacent zones to prevent accidents or risk situations. * Implement safety protocols and immediate response procedures in case of emergencies. * Provide first aid and perform aquatic rescue maneuvers when necessary. * Verify guests’ and visitors’ compliance with the swimming pool usage regulations. * Supervise safety, cleanliness, and order conditions in the pool area. * Report incidents, anomalies, or unsafe conditions to the relevant department. * Conduct daily inspections of rescue equipment, first-aid kits, and safety materials to ensure proper functionality. * Maintain a service-oriented attitude and courteous interaction with guests. * Coordinate with operational and security departments during incidents or special situations. * Support preventive activities aimed at ensuring a safe guest experience. * Comply with the hotel’s safety, hygiene, and quality standards. **Required Profile:** * Minimum education: Completed high school diploma. * Valid lifeguard certification is **mandatory**. * Valid first aid and CPR certification is desirable. * Minimum 1 year of experience as a lifeguard, preferably in hospitality, clubs, or recreational centers. * Knowledge of aquatic rescue protocols and emergency response. * Good physical condition and quick reaction capability. * Service-oriented attitude and friendly interaction with guests. * Strong sense of responsibility and risk prevention. * Ability to act under pressure and make rapid decisions. * Flexible availability for work schedule. **Competencies:** * Attention and concentration. * Responsibility. * Teamwork. * Immediate response to emergencies. * Effective communication. * Service orientation. * Risk prevention and management.
