Job Description: **Company specializing in interior design** **Seeking a General Assistant in the carpentry department.** **Job Objective** Support carpentry department activities to ensure proper fabrication, assembly, and finishing of products, meeting Deco Galería’s quality standards, delivery timelines, and safety requirements. **Duties and Responsibilities** * Assist with cutting, sanding, assembling, and mounting wooden parts for frames, stretchers, and other company products. * Prepare materials, tools, and equipment required for each project. * Assist with applying basic finishes (sealer, paint, varnish) under supervision. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools remain in good condition. * Assist with loading and unloading materials or finished pieces as needed. * Verify measurements and ensure accuracy in basic processes. * Comply with industrial safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment. * Perform other tasks assigned by the Master Carpenter or Production Manager. **Requirements** * Education: Junior high school or high school diploma (preferred). * Experience: 6 months to 1 year in carpentry, production, or similar roles (desirable but not mandatory). * Basic knowledge of hand and power tools (saw, sander, drill, etc.). * Ability to measure, cut, and handle wood. * Capacity to follow instructions and work collaboratively. **Competencies** * Proactivity and willingness to learn. * Attention to detail. * Teamwork. * Responsibility and punctuality. * Orderliness and cleanliness. **Working Conditions** * Schedule: Full-time.
