




**Job Description** 1.0 GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Responsible for performing preventive and/or corrective maintenance on machines, building equipment, and warehouse equipment. Responsible for executing assigned work orders, as well as providing support to internal customers for their various needs, provided such needs fall within the technician’s and department’s capabilities (e.g., fixture fabrication, furniture, installations, etc.) 2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS: 2.1 Responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment including roofs, mini-splits, restrooms, hydraulic systems, compressors, dryers, parking areas, and other assigned systems; maintaining mechanical/electrical systems of machinery used in Manufacturing, building, and other assigned areas in good working condition. Document corrective work orders, summaries of preventive and predictive maintenance (if applicable) in electronic and/or written logs. 2.2 Use of manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, and diagrams; monthly updates of quality system training; reduction of equipment downtime. Responsible for requesting parts and materials required to maintain machinery, equipment, and systems under their responsibility in good operating condition. Follow established systems for inventory control and work orders; provide support for activities necessary to implement Medline’s continuous improvement programs (e.g., Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, 5S, scheduled trainings). 2.3 Responsible for maintaining effective communication with all departments. 2.4 Responsible for complying with and adhering to company safety rules; using required equipment, protective devices, or clothing—or refraining from using prohibited equipment, devices, or clothing—as mandated by company health and safety regulations. Immediately report any absence or defect in protective equipment or clothing to supervisor and/or EHS Department. Keep work area clean and safe, and inform supervisor of any hazards. 2.5 Responsible for implementing the LOTO system and achieving zero accidents. 3.0 PROFESSIONAL PROFILE: 3.1 Experience / Technical Knowledge.
