




**Trinity Rail de Mexico** Seeks **Engineering Supervisor** Primary Purpose: Plan, develop, supervise, and support all product design work to meet customer requirements, ensuring compliance with national and international standards, codes, and regulations, while optimizing design, resources, and costs. **General Responsibilities:** * Plan and monitor activities related to product engineering development for assigned product engineers. * Review and approve product design documentation generated by direct reports, verifying compliance with customer requirements and national and international construction and design standards and codes. * Develop new products and/or new product designs to expand the company’s product offerings in the market. * Train personnel on applicable regulations and standards related to product calculations and design. * Provide technical support to Sales, Purchasing, Production, and Customers. * Review and/or develop technical specifications in accordance with manufacturing standards and regulations to support team members’ daily activities. * Assign, monitor, and track the workload of product engineering staff. * Promote adherence to and compliance with established procedures and specifications. * Propose, review, and—where applicable—approve requested modifications to products manufactured within areas under the supervisor’s responsibility, always seeking optimal business benefit and continuous improvement of our products. * Perform Design FMEA to identify and analyze risks associated with executing our designs. * Actively participate in at least one Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Management System committee. * Report, and where possible correct and/or eliminate, hazards identified during job performance. * Complete assigned training related to Safety, Health, and Environment. * Conduct safety observations of surrounding personnel and provide feedback on unsafe behaviors through the STOP program. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering; Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is desirable. **Experience:** 3–4 years in a leadership role supervising engineering product design or redesign activities, verifying compliance with national and international regulations, performing internal calculations and drafting designs, and providing technical support to Quality, Production, and Sales departments regarding Product Engineering matters. **Languages:** Intermediate English. **Competencies:** * Functional Knowledge: Requires knowledge and application of procedures and concepts within one’s own discipline, plus basic knowledge of other disciplines. * Business Experience: Applies understanding of how the team interfaces with closely related departments to improve the effectiveness of one’s own team. * Leadership: Holds formal supervisory responsibilities;
