Coordinate safety committees, medical services, and facilities activities Job Description and Responsibilities * Comply with all the Safety, Environmental and Health regulations, as well as deal with all the related authorities, auditors, and inspectors. * Responsible for accident and incident investigation, root cause analysis, countermeasure development, and implementation of corrective actions. * Responsible for coordinating the activities of the Safety Committee and BRIGADAS. * Responsible for medical services. * Maintain all emergency systems in good working condition in accordance with Mexican law. * Coordinate with the Training Supervisor to develop and follow up on safety training according to internal and legal requirements. Responsible for the chemical warehouse (inventory, identification, and documentation). * Proper management of chemicals and hazardous waste. * Keep updated the * Safety graphs on the Gemba walk. * Supervise Safety guards activities. * Supervise Chemical * Warehouse Technician activities. * Coordinate cleaning service. * Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and Facilities activities. Experience and Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree from a 4\-year college or university. * At least 3 to 5 years of prior experience in similar positions. * Experience in handling safety and environmental audits. * Experience in chemicals and hazardous waste handling. * Experience in developing and delivering safety training courses. * Second language: Intermediate \- Advanced English. * Knowledge of Mexican laws related to safety and environmental systems (PROFEPA, LFT, SEMARNAT, Mexican NOM, IMSS, STPS, RFSH, etc.). * Knowledge of emergency systems in accordance with Fire Department requirements. * Knowledge of Social Security (IMSS) procedures. * Knowledge of and ability to organize MSDS for all chemicals used in the production process. * Responsiveness. * Attention to detail. * Communication skills. * Problem\-solving skills. * Responsibility. * Teamwork. * Values. * Work ethic.
