POSITION OBJECTIVE Responsible for designing, building, optimizing, and maintaining data collection, storage, and transformation solutions. Collaborating with local and global multidisciplinary teams to develop technological solutions, ensuring the organization has reliable data to support strategic and operational decision-making. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Design, implement, and maintain data processing systems by developing extraction, loading, and transformation (ETL) processes to ensure data reliability. Lead data storage and management platform implementation projects through interaction with information users, IT systems teams, vendors, and partners across global teams, aiming to enhance organizational data capabilities and governed access. Perform data processing and cleansing using proprietary tools for handling large volumes of information, producing clean databases that persist on the company’s technology platforms, thereby enabling reliable data products. Validate and ensure data quality by developing and executing quality tests and monitoring data integrity to guarantee accuracy and reliability of data used. Collaborate with local and global multidisciplinary teams including data scientists, understanding their requirements and enabling data needs to ensure data solutions align with business objectives and support required analytics. Implement data security and governance measures by establishing data access and control policies and procedures to protect data integrity and confidentiality while complying with industry regulations and standards. Prepare reports and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for teams to track goal achievement, identifying trends and deviations that may impact organizational results proactively. Create and maintain documentation for information integration processes across various platforms, including detailed documentation of data architectures, models, and pipelines to facilitate maintenance, knowledge transfer, and operational continuity. POSITION PROFILE Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline. English: Advanced. Technical Knowledge: * Experience with large databases and diverse data types – Required. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office commercial applications, particularly MS Excel – Required. * Data flow and ETL process development – Required. * Proficiency in relational databases – Required. * Advanced knowledge of SQL / Python / PySpark / R – Required. * Knowledge of Data Lake architectures and best practices – Required. * Knowledge of cloud service platforms (AWS, MS Azure) – Required. * Familiarity with project development methodologies (Lean, Agile/Scrum/Waterfall) – Required. * Understanding of individual life insurance business model. * Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI – Desirable. * Knowledge of other lines of business within the insurance sector – Optional.
