We are seeking a Construction Safety and Hygiene Coordinator to supervise and implement safety, health, and hygiene procedures. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company standards, fostering a proactive safety culture among all team members. Key Responsibilities * Regulatory Implementation and Compliance: * Ensure compliance with NOM-031-STPS, NOM-035-STPS, federal and state regulations, as well as internal company standards. * Conduct daily supervision walkthroughs to identify unsafe conditions and acts. * Verify that appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and used mandatorily. * Inspect scaffolding, machinery, temporary electrical installations, and other critical-risk areas. * Deliver safety inductions to new personnel and visitors. * Coordinate and participate in mandatory training sessions. * Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes. * Prepare reports and define and implement necessary corrective and preventive actions. * Coordinate and maintain up-to-date emergency response plans (emergency brigades, drills, signage). * Prepare weekly and monthly safety indicator reports (statistics, progress, incidents). Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry. Proven experience managing safety on building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects. Knowledge of construction-specific hazards: working at heights, excavations, crane operations, welding, confined spaces, etc. Proficiency in software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing and presentations.
