Ensuring attention to detail, flavor, and texture of dishes to meet customer satisfaction and event requirements. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES** * Ingredient preparation: Washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting ingredients to have everything ready before cooking begins. Marinating, seasoning, and portioning ingredients according to recipes. * Cooking food using specific techniques (frying, roasting, boiling, baking, etc.). * Monitoring cooking times and temperatures to ensure each dish reaches its optimal point. * Plating food attractively and systematically for an appealing presentation. * Decorating and adding final touches to each dish before serving. * Verifying freshness and quality of ingredients prior to use. * Organizing workstations and kitchen equipment to ensure efficient workflow. * Training assigned assistants in cooking techniques, cooking times, and area-specific quality standards. * Collaborating in menu creation and updating. * Adjusting recipes and portions based on ingredient availability (according to season) and customer demand. * Reviewing and controlling food and supply inventory. * Collaborating and communicating with other team members (servers, assistants, chef) to coordinate service timing. * Adapting to workload during peak hours and managing stress during such periods. * Applying cleaning and disinfection practices in the work area and on kitchen utensils. * Complying with health, hygiene, and food safety regulations, as well as proper use of personal protective equipment.
