Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive kitchen assistant to support kitchen operations and general cleaning, handling simple food preparation tasks and hygiene maintenance in accordance with standards. Responsible for simple tasks such as **cleaning, peeling, cutting, chopping, weighing food items, and preparing sauces in compliance with standards.** **Position Type: Full-time:** Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm; Saturdays, 9:00 am–3:00 pm **Main Responsibilities** * **Preparation:** Wash, peel, cut, and chop fruits, vegetables, meats, and fish. * **Cooking:** Roast, bake, fry, boil, or steam food following precise timing and methods. * **Plating and Decoration:** Arrange food attractively on plates, ensuring final presentation before service. * **Safety and Hygiene:** Maintain cleanliness of the work area, utensils, and equipment to comply with sanitary regulations and prevent contamination. * **Inventory Management:** Check product freshness and expiration dates, and assist in supply control to avoid shortages. * **Organization:** Prepare the workstation with required ingredients and tools to streamline service. * **Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with other cooks and kitchen staff. * Additionally, may participate in menu development, dish updates, and verification of kitchen equipment functionality.
