We are looking for a highly creative chef with a passion for cooking for "Salem Witch House" Restaurant and its Nahuala branch. **Main Responsibilities:** **1\. Food Preparation for the Restaurant** * Prepare dishes according to established recipes. * Ensure ingredient freshness and quality. * Bake daily bread. **2\. Hygiene and Food Safety** * Maintain cleanliness of work areas. * Comply with hygiene and food handling standards. * Store ingredients properly to prevent contamination. * Use protective equipment (gloves, hairnet, apron). **3\. Organization and Teamwork** * Coordinate with other kitchen staff for smooth operations. * Manage preparation times to deliver orders on schedule. * Follow instructions from the head chef or kitchen supervisor. * Adapt to menu changes or restaurant demands. **4\. Inventory Control and Cost Management** * Verify sufficient supplies before each shift. * Report any shortages or ingredient waste. * Optimize product usage to reduce costs without compromising quality. **5\. Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement** * Handle kitchen emergencies without affecting service. * Seek innovations in recipes or preparation methods. * Maintain efficiency during peak demand periods. **Requirements:** * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in a kitchen. * **Technical Skills:** Knowledge of cooking techniques, baking, knife handling, and specialized equipment. **SCHEDULES:** **SALEM** * Tuesdays to Sundays, 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM **NAHUALA** * Tuesdays to Sundays, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM **WE OFFER** * Base salary * Tips * Statutory benefits * Daily meals * Uniforms Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $9,000.00 – $10,000.00 per month Benefits: * Free uniforms Work Location: On-site employment
