Leadership and decision-making ### **Mero Mero – Café & Restaurant** ### **Be part of our grand opening.** ### **We will soon open our doors and are looking for individuals passionate about gastronomy, responsible, and with an excellent service attitude to join our team.** ### **You will be responsible for supervising the food bar operation, ensuring proper preparation, presentation, inventory control, and delivery timing, while meeting the restaurant's quality, hygiene, and service standards.** ### **Main Responsibilities** * Supervise the daily food bar operation. * Coordinate and lead the staff assigned to the bar. * Verify correct preparation and presentation of dishes. * Manage inventory of ingredients, utensils, and bar equipment. * Request ingredient replenishment and report shortages. * Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety regulations. * Assist in food preparation during peak hours. * Coordinate the opening and closing of the food bar. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Coordinate with kitchen, service, and management for efficient workflow. * Train bar staff on procedures and operational standards. ### **Work Schedule** * **Monday through Sunday**, with **one rotating weekday off**, according to the shift roster. ### **Requirements** * Minimum education: Completed high school (technical degree in food-related field preferred). * Experience managing a food bar or kitchen. * Leadership and supervisory capability. * Flexible availability for scheduling. * Responsibility and punctuality. ### **General (Non-Technical) Knowledge** * Customer service. * Inventory organization and control. * Personnel management. * Good hygiene and food handling practices. * Teamwork. ### **Experience** * **2 to 3 years** in food preparation or kitchen operations. * At least **1 year** in a supervisory or managerial role. ### **Skills and Competencies** * Leadership and decision-making. * Working under pressure. * Effective communication. * Order and discipline. * Focus on quality and service timing. ### **We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with the position. * Statutory benefits. * Job stability. * Growth opportunity.
