Job Summary: Responsible for maintaining and repairing the hotel’s technical systems to ensure proper facility operation and guest comfort, performing both preventive and corrective maintenance. Key Highlights: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of hotel equipment and systems. 2. Ensuring the safety of facilities and the well-being of guests. 3. Extensive experience in electricity, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanics. Responsible for maintaining and repairing the hotel’s technical systems and equipment to ensure proper facility operation and guest comfort. Responsible for performing and documenting preventive or corrective maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additionally, performs lighting and plumbing walkthroughs and assists department technicians in various situations and assigned tasks. As a **General Assistant**, you will be responsible for: * Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and systems; ensuring optimal condition of electrical systems and any other technical equipment critical to hotel operations. * Ensuring facility safety, safeguarding guests and staff, and verifying that all systems affecting hotel infrastructure operate safely. * Replacing burnt-out lighting units, as well as conductors, switches, outlets, dimmers, etc. * Reporting any malfunctions and maintaining up-to-date operational logs for equipment under your responsibility and for received reports. * Complying with applicable laws, regulations, and standards; staying informed about safety and equipment maintenance regulations. * Accurately interpreting readings from measuring instruments such as pressure gauges, vacuum gauges, voltmeters-ammeters, thermometers, multimeters, among others. * Repairing any defects or leaks in sanitary, wastewater treatment, hot water, and chilled water systems. * Monitoring temperature, humidity, and pressure in equipment using various devices. **To succeed in this role, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:** * Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in the field. * Proficiency in operating electromechanical equipment and measuring instruments. * Experience in electricity, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanics. **The following capabilities and distinctions would be advantageous in this position:** * Basic knowledge of swimming pool, spa, filter, and fountain pumping systems. * Experience in minor electrical work (e.g., switches, fans, motors, etc.).
