A company in the **food industry** is seeking a **Plant Operations Manager/Supervisor** to lead and supervise daily production operations, working closely with Operations Management to ensure productivity, quality, and food safety compliance at the plant. **Job Objective**: Coordinate and supervise plant production operations, ensuring adherence to the operational plan, production line efficiency, yield loss control, proper management of operational staff, and compliance with quality and food safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise daily production and packaging operations. * Coordinate operational staff by shift and workstation. * Ensure adherence to the production schedule. * Monitor productivity, performance, and yield loss control. * Supervise cooking, shredding, cooling, and packaging processes. * Guarantee compliance with GMP, SSOP, and food safety requirements. * Coordinate operational incidents and follow up on maintenance activities. * Track operational KPIs and production reports. * Train and evaluate operational staff. * Participate in interviews and onboarding processes for new staff. * Coordinate activities with warehouse, logistics, and maintenance departments. **REQUIRED PROFILE** **Education**: Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Production, Process Engineering, or related field. Technicians with substantial plant operations experience are also eligible to apply. **Experience**: * Minimum 4–6 years in operations or production **MANDATORY** within the **food industry**. * Experience leading operational staff and production lines. * Proficiency in managing productivity, yield loss, and operational compliance metrics. * Experience in perishable food manufacturing plants. * Knowledge of food safety, GMP, HACCP, and operational processes. * **Key Competencies**: Production line supervision, operational planning, inventory management and warehouse coordination, intermediate Excel and operational reporting, continuous improvement and problem-solving, coordination of preventive and corrective maintenance. * **Competencies**: Operational leadership, sense of urgency, organization and follow-up, problem-solving, working under pressure, effective communication. **Compensation**: * Monthly gross salary of $19,000 to $21,000 * Statutory benefits \+ 20 days’ bonus * Job stability and growth opportunities * Direct employment with the company * Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM * **Work Location**: Guadalupe, N.L.
