At **BESTA**, we seek a Backend Developer specialized in AWS Serverless environments. Your primary role will be to design, develop, and implement robust APIs and control systems that ensure data security and optimal enterprise data flow. We seek a candidate with an efficiency-oriented mindset, capable of integrating AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude Code or GitHub Copilot) into daily workflows to accelerate development cycles, optimize code, and maintain impeccable documentation. **Key Responsibilities** * **Serverless Development:** Design, deploy, and maintain backend solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code, with a central focus on the AWS ecosystem (primarily Lambdas). * **API Integration:** Develop and consume secure, efficient APIs to connect our internal systems with key service providers. * **Data Management:** Structure and optimize relational databases, ensuring efficient queries that correctly feed business KPI dashboards. * **AI-Driven Optimization:** Actively adopt generative AI tools to accelerate development, code review, and technical documentation creation. * **Quality and Collaboration:** Ensure web platform stability by working under agile methodologies (Scrum), maintaining clean, well-organized, and properly commented code. **Required Profile** **Technical Skills (Hard Skills):** * Minimum 3–5 years of experience with **MySQL 8 / MariaDB** and interpretation of entity-relationship models. * At least 4 years of backend development experience with **Node.js** and Infrastructure-as-Code. * Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in **AWS Serverless**, **JavaScript**, and **API** design/consumption. * 3 years of experience using **GitHub** for version control and working under **Scrum** methodologies (Jira-based management). * *Desirable:* Basic knowledge or familiarity with PHP (7\.4 \- 8\) / CodeIgniter, React JS, HTML5, and CSS3 for better understanding of the full web stack. **Professional Skills (Soft Skills):** * Self-directed learning ability and openness to adopting new technologies and development tools. * Clear and assertive communication to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams (Technology, Sales, Operations, Human Capital). * Results orientation, proactivity, and strong organizational sense. **Benefits and Conditions** * Competitive monthly salary (100% nominal scheme with biweekly payment). * Statutory benefits: IMSS, Infonavit, 25% vacation bonus, and 12 vacation days from the first year. * Enhanced benefits: 30-day Christmas bonus, monthly grocery vouchers, savings fund, and profit-sharing (PTU). * Career development opportunity If you meet this profile and seek an environment that promotes adoption of new technologies to enhance software development efficiency, please submit your application.
