Establish effective communication with team members and users **Location:** CDMX, Mexico City, MX **Category:** Finance and Operations **Requisition ID:** 121330 Application Engineer and Business Relationship **Banorte CDMX** **Position Purpose:** Lead technological initiatives, maintenance activities, and projects; manage development, development factories, and business-area relationships; coordinate execution of activities across all stages aligned with the methodology in its various phases — including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and post-implementation — for end-to-end technological solutions, delivered within defined time, cost, and scope parameters. Consistently ensure alignment between business strategy and IT strategy, as well as short-, medium-, and long-term benefits for the Financial Group. **Key Functions and Responsibilities:** I.\- Full development lifecycle management, from early stages through implementation, developing and ensuring deliverable quality, certifying each stage, and supporting co-participating areas across the development lifecycle — from initiative inception, understanding, analysis, design, construction, testing, production deployment, and deliverable warranty — always aligned with institutional methodologies. II.\- Change management, incident resolution arising from implementations, and topics related to adaptability and user training on newly implemented functionalities. III.\- Business relationship management: understanding, addressing user queries, and tracking pending items at any stage of the development lifecycle: a. Address and clarify potential functionality-related questions during analysis and requirements-gathering phases. b. Update information at any stage upon request by technical teams. c. Track certification (e.g., schedule user tests, follow up on findings to ensure readiness for release). d. Post-production activation: track production-reported findings until formal sign-off of value delivery is obtained. e. Administrative management of allocated and utilized capacity — both in hours and budget. II) Identification of risks with a holistic and impartial perspective, always prioritizing project benefit. III) Track administrative activities and, if necessary, correct and/or escalate issues to co-participating Execution Leaders per initiative (documentation in Cognos, RRC, PPM, authorized budget monitoring). IV) Appropriate reporting (accurate, timely, and concise). V) Understands the operation of applications under their responsibility and their relationship with business needs, enabling effective communication with team members and users. VI) Experience in managing wholesale banking projects, implementing new derivative products, Money Market products, Capital Markets products, Investment Funds, Treasury, and Securities. **Specific Requirements:** * Professional Education: Engineering / Systems Bachelor's Degree * Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years * Areas of Experience: + Conventional and Agile (DevOps) methodologies for delivering technological solutions + Experience across all stages of the systems development lifecycle + Project administration + Business relationship management * Technical Knowledge Murex: Implementation of projects using MX3. Technical knowledge of Java and SQL on Oracle. Knowledge of workflow design and construction in Murex. Knowledge of reporting and interface creation in Murex (Datamart Extractions, Processing Scripts, CSV, Excel). Creation of e-tradepad, views, configuration of templates and pre-trade rules in MX3. Knowledge of accounting rule creation and configuration. Collateral module configuration in MX3.
