




Position Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage preventive and corrective maintenance of tractor-trailers, coordinate technical staff, and ensure vehicle availability. Our transportation services cover the entire national territory and the United States of North America through specific commercial alliances. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of tractor-trailers and trailers. * Develop and monitor the maintenance program. * Coordinate the shop's technical staff. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures. * Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables. * Authorize purchase requisitions for spare parts. * Verify that repairs comply with safety standards. * Reduce downtime and ensure vehicle availability. * Maintain work order and service log records. * Supervise compliance with safety and hygiene regulations. * Attend internal and external audits (if applicable). * Evaluate the performance of supervised personnel. * Coordinate roadside assistance when necessary. Technical Knowledge · Advanced diesel mechanics. · Tractor-trailer electrical and electronic systems. · Air brake systems. · Suspension and transmission systems. · Diagnostic scanning. · Transportation regulations (SCT, applicable NOMs). · Preventive maintenance control. · Maintenance software proficiency (desirable). Education · Diesel Mechanics Technician, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. · Diesel engine certifications (desirable). Experience · Minimum 3–5 years in a similar position. · Proven experience maintaining fifth-wheel units. · Experience managing technical staff.
