Job Summary: We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator to produce parts for the department, ensuring quality and safety while adhering to production plans. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity to innovate and optimize resources. **CNC Machine Operator** **Objective** * Produce departmental parts according to scheduled timelines and under Safety/Quality standards. **Responsibilities and Functions** * Follow and fulfill the production plan assigned by technicians. * Use and promote personal protective equipment (PPE). * Maintain order, organization, and cleanliness at the workstation. * Control the process in accordance with Work Standards. * Respect and follow technicians’ instructions to maintain cell KPIs. * Comply with departmental policies and procedures. * Meet scheduled operation times (actual hours vs. scheduled hours). * Optimize and safeguard provided resources. * Participate in reducing rework percentage and manufacturing costs through various forums. * Report process failures and part discrepancies promptly upon occurrence. * Generate and implement innovative ideas. * Perform TPM as specified, on time and correctly. **Requirements** ***Education:*** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Technical degree in Machine Tools or related field preferred. ***Required Knowledge:*** * Basic knowledge of G and M codes. * Basic blueprint interpretation. * Measuring instruments. ***Desired Knowledge:*** * Basic programming. * Knowledge of cutting tools. * Operation of conventional machine tools. ***Required Experience:*** * Minimum of 1 year. * Operation of turning centers. * Operation of 4-axis machining centers. * Use and handling of vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators. ***Desired Experience:*** * Minimum of 1 year operating Siemens controls. * Tool alignment on lathes. ***Competencies*** * Safety * Honesty * Commitment/Availability * Results Orientation * Customer Satisfaction * Collaboration (Teamwork) * Adherence to Work Standards (Compliance with procedures) * Commitment/Availability * Innovation
