**Software Engineer**
**Location:** Mexico City.
**Work Model:** Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote).
**Working Hours:**
* Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
***Objective:***
*Collaborate with Solution Architects and functional teams to ensure efficient design and implementation of solutions meeting customer needs. Leveraging knowledge and experience in WMS, contribute to solution delivery across the project lifecycle*.
**Salary Range:** $44,000 \- $54,000 gross monthly.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Stay current on the latest functional and technical capabilities of the Blue Yonder (BY) application and KN SwiftLOG platform—including architecture, configuration options, APIs, and customization features—to identify software solutions addressing specific business needs.
* Coordinate with stakeholders to fully understand and clarify technical and business requirements.
* Perform detailed design activities and provide necessary documentation to stakeholders to support go/no\-go decisions.
* Identify appropriate technologies for proposed solutions, seeking approval when non-standard approaches are considered.
* Develop custom code to extend software functionality, add new features, or modify existing ones per business requirements.
* Ensure all implemented components comply with detailed design specifications and established coding standards.
* Conduct unit testing of developed components based on detailed designs, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
* Validate successful deployment of implemented solutions prior to making them available to stakeholders.
* Provide all mandatory documentation supporting the implemented solution.
* Ensure all deliverables comply with KN’s quality assurance processes and procedures.
* Register all source code in the appropriate repository in preparation for version packaging and deployment.
* Use monitoring and analysis tools such as MOCA Console and Trace Analyzer to proactively detect, isolate, and resolve issues.
* Perform root cause analysis on defects identified during testing and implement appropriate resolutions.
* Apply a continuous improvement mindset across all activities, actively seeking feedback from peers and stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities to improve development processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
* Develop a solid understanding of integration methods with external systems such as WCS (Warehouse Control Systems).
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide regular updates on progress and incidents.
* Work independently or collaboratively within cross-functional teams to contribute to project success.
* Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of operational and project issues.
* Mentor junior team members by offering guidance and support for their professional development.
**Requirements:**
* **Education:** Technical degree / Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
* **Experience:** Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
* **Advanced English proficiency.**
**Knowledge:**
* Blue Yonder or Manhattan WMS, integrations, IT ecosystems in logistics.
* Agile methodology.
* BY technology stack, MOCA, MFT, DDA\-Page Builder, Reports, Labels, Web UI, integration.
* Java (Desirable).
* ExtJS, Angular JS Skills (Desirable).
* PL/SQL, Unix shell, other scripting languages (Desirable).
