**Summary**
The Logistics Coordinator – Mexico is responsible for overseeing and executing all logistics, transportation, and materials coordination activities for the Mexico operation. This role ensures the efficient flow of inbound and outbound materials to support production and customer delivery requirements while maintaining compliance with local regulations and global company standards.
**Responsibilities**
Key Responsibilities: • Manage day\-to\-day logistics operations including inbound materials, outbound shipments, and inventory coordination • Plan and schedule shipments to ensure on\-time delivery (OTIF) to customers and production lines • Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers for domestic and international shipments • Troubleshoot shipment delays, shortages, and transportation issues in real time • Ensure compliance with Mexican import/export regulations, USMCA requirements, and internal trade compliance policies • Coordinate documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.) • Act as primary contact for customs brokers and audits • Supervise, train, and develop logistics personnel • Assign daily priorities and ensure workload balance • Drive accountability for safety, quality, and performance standards • Provide coaching and conduct performance evaluations Process Improvement \& Cost Control • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce logistics costs • Support continuous improvement initiatives (lean, KPI tracking, root cause analysis) • Monitor freight spend and recommend cost\-saving opportunities Cross\-Functional Coordination • Collaborate with: • Production \& Planning • Purchasing/Sourcing • Customer Service • Finance (for freight and duty costs) • Serve as the local logistics expert and key point of contact for global stakeholders
**Education / Qualifications**
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred) • More than 3 years of experience years as a Logistics Coordinator • Strong knowledge of: Transportation and warehouse operations , Cross\-border logistics (Mexico–U.S.), Customs compliance and documentation Advanced English
