The purpose of the Surveying Engineer is to ensure the reliability and accuracy of geospatial information through its capture and validation, to support planning, operational control, and decision-making in mining operations.

**What We Are Looking For**
**Education**
* Geomatics Engineering
* Surveying Engineering
**Experience**
* Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in underground mining, focused on development control and surveying.
* Experience in advance estimation, volumetric calculation, and volumetric control.
* Experience in spatial reconciliation (mine–survey) and volume reconciliation.
* Experience in administration and control of geospatial databases.
* Experience in generating technical progress reports and mineral inventory reports.
* Experience in interpretation and preparation of surveying and mining plans.
* Experience in control and adjustment of underground surveying networks.
* Experience in maintenance and calibration of surveying equipment (Leica MS\-60, Captivate preferred).
**Key Knowledge Areas**
* Accurate and Reliable Geospatial Data
* Surveying, network adjustment, and digital data capture (Total Station, GNSS, 3D laser scanning).
* Geospatial information processing and management (Deswik CAD / Deswik Survey, surveying databases, photogrammetry).
* Technical Reporting
* Plan preparation, volumetric calculation, and mine–survey reconciliation.
* Technical information analysis and management (Advanced Excel, Power BI preferred).
* Management and Administration
* Supervision of technical personnel and operational management of the surveying department.
* Equipment control, field safety, and risk management (calibration, procedures).
