EHS Technician

**What you will do:** ----------------- **Primary function:** The EHS Technician supports environmental, health, and safety activities within the company. Responsible for maintaining EHS systems and processes: monitoring, measurement, as well as communicating departmental metrics. Adheres to and complies with safety standards and rules to safeguard personal integrity; maintains a zero-incident culture. **Essential functions:** * Supports implementation of MESH (Environmental, Health, Safety, Protection, and Security Management System) * Supports risk assessment to identify EHS hazards and critical aspects * Tracks KPIs by monitoring EHS performance. * Tracks achievement of EHS objectives in collaboration with site lead, leadership team, managers, and supervisors to drive compliance and EHS results culture. * Supports and promotes zero-incident EHS culture across the entire plant. * Encourages EHS participation through teams and committees to achieve annual established objectives. * Supports the EHS leader in conducting the annual assessment and ensuring compliance with national, state, and local regulations. * Supports third-party recognition in site-established programs and Eaton’s global EHS programs. * Provides support on using established EHS data processes such as MESH Suite for data management. * Develops training matrices and leads training sessions to fulfill the annual plan. * Supports efforts to ensure and track implementation of key EHS operational controls into the PM program. **Requirements:** --------------- **Basic knowledge and qualities:** * Completed high school / Bachelor’s degree in Administration or Engineering (in progress) * 2 years of experience * Basic knowledge (risk analysis, PPE, waste) * Basic knowledge in waste management * Accident investigation analysis * Training delivery capability * Ability to use the company’s system for EHS information recording * Experience with Teams, Office 365, SharePoint, etc. * Prior manufacturing experience * Quality tools for problem-solution analysis (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
