Job Summary: Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining Docker-based container infrastructure on Linux, ensuring application and database availability, stability, security, and performance. MariaDB/PostgreSQL database management and optimization Responsible for the planning, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Docker-based container infrastructure on dedicated Linux servers, ensuring the availability, stability, security, and performance of applications (PHP and Python/FastAPI) and databases (MariaDB/PostgreSQL). **Responsibilities** Administer Linux servers in production environments (configuration, hardening, maintenance) Manage and optimize Docker containers (applications, APIs, databases) Design, execute, and improve deployment processes (CI/CD) Implement zero-downtime deployments and rollback in case of failures Administer databases in containers (MariaDB and/or PostgreSQL) Evaluate and participate in migration from MariaDB to PostgreSQL Implement infrastructure monitoring (CPU, memory, disk, services) Configure proactive alerts for failures or performance degradation Design and implement backup and recovery strategies (disaster recovery) Execute tests before applying updates in production Manage system, container, and dependency updates Apply security practices (hardening, access control, basic vulnerability analysis) Diagnose and resolve production incidents Document configurations, processes, and architecture **Technical Requirements** Solid Linux experience (administration, troubleshooting) Practical experience with Docker (multi\-container, docker\-compose) Experience deploying backend applications: PHP (preferred) Python (FastAPI or similar) Database management experience: MariaDB/MySQL PostgreSQL (preferred or willingness to migrate) CI/CD knowledge (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar) Networking knowledge (ports, DNS, firewalls) Experience with automated backups and recovery Monitoring experience (Prometheus, Grafana, or others) Basic Linux server security knowledge **Desired Experience** Production environment experience with business impact Incident handling and resolution under pressure Experience managing multiple containers on a single server Performance optimization experience Database migration experience (highly preferred) **Key Operational Responsibilities** Validate and test changes before production Execute controlled deployments Monitor stability post\-deployment Respond to critical incidents Ensure data integrity through reliable backups Employment Type: Full\-time, Indefinite Term Salary: Up to $25,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Educational support * Company parking * Free parking * Option for indefinite contract * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On\-site employment
