Job Profile: Logistics Manager** **Department:** Logistics and Operations **Position:** Logistics Manager **Reports to:** Operations Coordinator / General Management **Salary:** $11,000 to $15,000 monthly (depending on experience and performance) **Working hours:** Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:30 hrs and Saturday from 8:00 to 13:00 hrs **Benefits:** Statutory benefits (IMSS, Infonavit, vacations, Christmas bonus, vacation premium) **Job Objective** Ensure the planning, control, and efficient execution of logistics operations at Plastic Trade S.A. de C.V., guaranteeing timely delivery of recyclable materials, raw materials, and finished products, as well as proper coordination between customers, transportation, and operational departments. **Required Profile** * **Education:** Technical or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum 4 years in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or distribution. * **Technical knowledge:** * Local route and transportation management. * Inventory and warehouse management. * Coordination with suppliers and customers. * Scheduling of material arrivals and departures. * Use of spreadsheets, document control, and operational reports. * **Skills:** Planning, effective communication, operational leadership, working under pressure, problem resolution, and administrative control. **Essential Responsibilities** * **Coordinate and supervise logistics operations** for collection, transfer, and delivery of recyclable materials and finished products. * **Develop and update transportation routes**, ensuring efficiency in time and cost. * **Manage warehouse inbound and outbound control**, verifying physical inventories and system records. * **Supervise operational and transportation personnel**, ensuring compliance with schedules and safety regulations. * **Maintain control of logistics documents**, including delivery notes, logs, and route sheets. * **Monitor performance of transportation providers and internal units**, reporting incidents. * **Coordinate with customer service department** to schedule on-site deliveries and pickups. * **Report key performance indicators to management and operations**, including deliveries, incidents, delays, and route efficiency. * **Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations** related to safety, quality, and service. * **Propose continuous improvements** to optimize logistics and reduce downtime or overcosts. **Key Competencies** * Organization and strategic planning. * Sense of urgency and responsibility. * Effective communication and operational leadership. * Problem analysis and decision-making. * Teamwork and results-oriented focus.
