Position Summary: We are seeking a Safety Officer to ensure plant safety, regulatory compliance, and document management by identifying risks and maintaining safety policies. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead daily safety routines and meetings with the client. 2. Ensure compliance with STPS regulations and DC3 requirements. 3. We are seeking a candidate to fill the **Safety Officer** position in **Apan, Hidalgo**, focused on **plant-level safety, regulatory compliance, and document management**. **Your Impact in This Role** * Follow up on **daily safety routines and meetings** with the client. * Manage and update **safety-related documentation and deliverables**. * Evaluate **practices, procedures, and facilities** to identify field risks. * Ensure **compliance with STPS regulations** and **DC3 requirements**. * Develop and maintain **safety, health, and environmental policies**. * Maintain **employee documentation** (medical exams, DC3 forms, plant access authorizations). * Supervise **regulatory compliance** through plant inspections. * Administer and maintain **PPE inventory**. **Requirements** * Education: **Chemical Engineering or related degree**. * **1+ year of experience** in **industrial safety** and/or **production environments**. * Knowledge of **STPS Official Standards**, **DC3**, and **Good Manufacturing Practices**. * Proficiency in **Excel and supporting tools**. * Strong **organizational, follow-up, and communication skills**. * Availability for **shift work**. **Position Details** * **Location:** Apan, Hidalgo (Acopinalco Highway, CP 43920) * **Schedule:** Rotating shifts **Our Commitment to an Inclusive and Belonging Culture** Ecolab is committed to treating all employees and applicants fairly and equally, and to promoting equal employment opportunity principles.
