Ongoing training and a dynamic, collaborative work environment. **Job Description** **Food Quality and Safety Engineer** **Job Objective** Develop, implement, and monitor quality and food safety systems within a new packaging and storage facility, ensuring compliance with applicable national and international standards in the food industry. **Job Profile** **Education:** Degree in Quality Engineering, Food Engineering, Production Systems Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** Preferred 6 to 12 months of experience participating in the development, implementation, and monitoring of food quality and safety systems. **Desired Knowledge** * HACCP systems. * GFSI standards. * SMETA audits. * GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). * Food safety processes. * Development of procedures, forms, and controls. * Document management and quality indicator tracking. **Main Responsibilities** * Participate in establishing and developing the company’s quality department. * Implement and monitor food safety and quality systems. * Develop procedures, policies, and operational controls. * Supervise processes in receiving bays, screening areas, silos, and packaging zones. * Verify compliance with GMP and internal standards. * Support internal and external audits. * Collaborate with experienced personnel to strengthen the plant’s quality systems. * Identify improvement opportunities in production and operational processes. * Train staff on quality and food safety topics. **Competencies and Skills** * Proactivity. * Strong communication skills. * Leadership mindset and eagerness to learn. * Organized individual with a results-oriented approach. * Extroverted and able to work effectively in teams. * Ability to develop projects from scratch. * Sense of responsibility and follow-through. **We Offer** * Opportunity for professional growth. * Involvement in the development of a new plant. * Continuous development and training. * A dynamic and collaborative work environment.
