MIG Welding Operator

Job Summary: Responsible for safely and efficiently operating MIG welding and assembly equipment while maintaining quality and production standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate MIG welding and assembly equipment 2. Perform inspections of parts and production documentation 3. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating welding equipment to produce finished parts, with a primary focus on safety, quality, and efficient production techniques. * Operate MIG welding equipment and any auxiliary equipment. * Start up and operate assembly equipment. * Adjust and set up welding tooling equipment as required. * Perform part inspections, including visual inspections and measurements. * Complete required production documentation. * Label and prepare finished products for material handler pickup. * Maintain 5\-S standards in the assigned area. * Report all quality, production, or safety issues to the Team Leader. * Be available to work overtime as required. Requirements * Education: High school diploma or GED required. * Experience: Minimum two years of manufacturing experience required. Prior experience in an assembly/welding or manufacturing environment preferred. * Skills: * Basic computer and math skills required. * Strong verbal and written communication skills in English required. * Ability to work at a fast pace. * Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours. * Capable of performing basic maintenance or mechanical tasks. * Problem-solving ability.
