Collaborative work environment with professional development **About the Company** A leading Mexican company in the marketing of food industry additives and ingredients, with over 35 years of market presence, is seeking an IMPORT PURCHASING ASSISTANT. Location: San Sebastián Xhala Industrial Park, Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico. **Job Objective:** To provide operational and administrative support for domestic and international purchasing processes, ensuring proper supplier management, timely acquisition of goods and services, and compliance with internal policies—thereby guaranteeing efficient supply and contributing to cost optimization and business continuity. **Job Requirements:** · Bachelor’s degree in International Trade / Marketing / Business Administration (degree and professional license). · Two years of experience in a similar position. · Proficiency in *Microsoft Office* software suite, SAE, and Oddo. · Knowledge of documentation required in import processes. · Experience operating scanners and switchboards. · English language proficiency. **Main Responsibilities:** * Maintain an updated supplier directory. * Prepare purchase orders. * Digitize and archive import purchase orders. * Track deliveries according to purchase orders. * Forward purchase orders and purchase requisitions to International Logistics. * Assist with monthly inventory counts. * Update product technical documents with suppliers based on the quality matrix. * Generate monthly paid-inventory reports. * Deliver invoices from international suppliers to Treasury in a timely manner. * Generate purchase reports by supplier and by product. * Process passive purchases in SAE. * Prepare reports and charts summarizing market price indicators. * Complete supplier credit applications. * Generate daily comparative reports on purchase orders, border inventory, transit status, and receipts. * Monthly closing report for domestic purchases in USD and MXN. * Prepare shipping guides for samples. * Purchase monthly office supplies and pantry items. * Answer the switchboard, manage the meeting room schedule, and handle front-desk mail. **Compensation and Additional Benefits:** ?Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–18:30 (full-time). ?Gross monthly salary of $16,500 (paid biweekly). ?Meal vouchers and Savings Fund (included in the above-mentioned salary). ?Permanent employment contract. ?On-site work modality. ?Collaborative work environment. ?Training and Development opportunities.
