Driver / Receptionist, Temporary CCM

Description

This position provides executive-class service through high standards of trust, safety, punctuality, and efficiency, enabling a missionary to fulfill their missionary purpose. Under general supervision and following established driving procedures, the incumbent drives a federal passenger bus for 49 missionaries within a city and federal zone, as well as drives vans for 15 passengers under the same conditions. * Operate passenger transport vans safely, applying knowledge of driving regulations in accordance with given instructions. Transport passengers along pre-established routes, adhering to schedules. * Reception and documentation of missionaries. Recovery of lost luggage from airlines and claims for damaged luggage. Maintain records of missionary arrivals or departures, trips conducted, and routes covered, as well as organization of luggage compartments in buses and/or vans. Also collaborate and facilitate effective communication with the reception and visa department during missionary transfers for immigration procedures (occasionally). * Basic knowledge of vehicle operation, including oil changes, brake adjustments, identification of tire problems and engine issues, to report defects or repairs to the supervisor. Also regulate ventilation, heating, and lighting systems inside the vehicle. * Payment of services such as fuel refills, parking, federal zone terminal fees, and excess baggage charges when applicable. * Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 **year of experience driving passenger transport vans**, plus safety awareness. Basic knowledge of automotive mechanics. * Valid federal driver’s license and a good driving record. Must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for operating a federal passenger executive bus. Completion of a defensive driving course is preferred, as well as the ability to follow instructions and/or maps. * Demonstrated ability to care for and respect Church vehicles and equipment. * Requires basic reading, mathematics, and communication skills in both Spanish and English to provide information and relay instructions to national and international missionaries. * Good physical health; must be able to lift heavy objects and have good vision. **We offer:** * $10,983\.61 (gross monthly) * Benefits exceeding legal requirements. * Major Medical, Minor Medical, and Life Insurance
