




Job Summary: The Shift Supervisor organizes resources for production, ensures quality, leads productivity and safety, and guarantees compliance with procedures and personnel development. Duties and Responsibilities 1\. The Shift Supervisor reports to the Plant Manager or Production Manager. This position is responsible for organizing all assigned resources to produce products according to the current schedule and in compliance with quality standards. 2\. The supervisor must be aware at all times of any deviation from the current schedule and shall take timely corrective actions to address shortfalls, advising the Plant Manager and planner if the required corrective action exceeds their authority or available resources. 3\. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring parts are produced and approved in accordance with established quality standards. Verify that all processes are stable and within specified tolerances. 4\. The Supervisor is responsible for production changes; they will assign and organize all resources required to achieve the aforementioned key priorities. Ensure production change forms are properly documented. 5\. The Supervisor shall provide necessary leadership on the shop floor to ensure high productivity, values, and safety. Must maintain a high standard of cleanliness. The Supervisor plays a key role in continuously implementing necessary changes on the shop floor. Ensure only qualified personnel are assigned to work cells or other tasks. 6\. The Supervisor will work closely with the Human Resources Manager and Production Supervisor or Plant Manager to ensure appropriate training is conducted and disciplinary measures are appropriately applied to control absenteeism and unacceptable behavior. 7\. The Supervisor is a leader in adhering to required procedures for Quality Assurance, Inventory Control, and Production Control. 8\. Ensure all maintenance activities are performed. B. Minimum Requirements 1\. Three years of experience as a Production Supervisor. 2\. Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree. 3\. Experience managing people and working in teams. C. Required Skills 1\. Knowledge of materials. 2\. Problem-solving skills. 3\. Knowledge of Quality and Environmental Management Systems, and procedures related to the job function. 4\. Job function forms and labels.
