Learn more today! www.bendix.com/careers **Job Description:** Essential Functions: * Locate material that has not required inspection or has already been released. * Pick and ship material to the production plant manually or electronically via Transfer Order (TO) or Kanban. * Physically or systemically move material rejected during receiving inspection to the quarantine area (red zone). * Similarly, locate or ship material released from the red zone to the production plant. * Unload trailers containing material and place it in the assigned receiving area. * Physically verify material against the import invoice and supplier documentation. * Receive material in SAP system, prioritizing urgent material reported on the critical list. * Identify material requiring receiving inspection using yellow or red cones depending on urgency. * Apply receiving label and/or FIFO label to the box or boxes corresponding to the received quantity. * File all documentation related to receiving activities — including import invoices and supplier documentation — per procedure. * Report inventory discrepancies identified during the performance of duties. * Perform daily inspection of assigned equipment used to perform work (RF gun, racks, and forklifts). * Conduct scheduled inspections/audits for assigned racks and forklifts; report damages or repairs per procedure. * Execute timely and accurate SAP system transactions. * Comply with applicable QS\-9000 and ISO\-14000 requirements for the Materials Department. * Ensure adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) process: pick the oldest inspection lot to guarantee proper material flow. * Immediately notify supervisor of any anomalies or special cases. * Proper use and communication via email as assigned to the functional area. * Maintain warehouse and receiving areas clean and well-organized per 5S program. * Comply with company-established safety rules. * Comply with procedures established by the Plant and Department. * Participate in Annual Physical Inventories. * Participate in Kaizen Events. * Employee has the authority to stop the production line when detecting a product quality issue or defect. * Support PSA activities and procedures with team members. * Perform all other duties required by the nature of the position. Management and Supervisory Responsibilities: * This position is not responsible for supervising other employees. Knowledge: * Computer literacy; knowledge of SAP or other ERP/MRP systems; experience using scales. Experience: * Minimum six months of material handling experience. * Must be over 18 years of age (requirement for forklift license). Skills: * Dynamic individual with immediate adaptability to process changes in systems. * Accustomed to working under pressure. * Availability to change shifts. * Flexible schedule, willingness to work overtime when required, and shift changes.
