Job Summary: We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize assembly processes, ensure quality and productivity, and collaborate on continuous improvement. Key Highlights: 1. Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer! **RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES** * Develop general assembly processes in accordance with requirements specified in general specifications. * Maintain up-to-date PCP for the assigned area, ensuring action plans and control plans are in place in case of any deviation. * Ensure processes within the assigned area meet quality, productivity, and cost objectives. * Interface externally and request support in cases of major safety, quality, or productivity issues. * Liaise with North America VS; request support as needed. * Collaborate with maintenance teams to resolve issues (lessons learned / new designs). * Review and evaluate the assigned process area to keep the process technologically current. * Innovate and identify viable, approved alternatives within the area of control. * General knowledge of operations, quality, or maintenance. * Proactively respond to day-to-day quality and productivity issues. * Evaluate tooling design associated with the General Assembly area. * Evaluate process design and validate layout, complying with GMS principles. * Evaluate and implement major engineering changes, meeting global product requirements and GA (VS) standards. * Responsible for developing and validating process FMEAs, applying continuous improvement within the GA plant. * Develop SORs, adhering to corporate guidelines and ensuring suppliers in the GA area comply with standards and requirements. * Evaluate and provide feedback on MPS, whether for new products or requirements for existing products, ensuring all impacts are addressed and the plant remains competitive. * Ensure compliance with the Process Control Plan in the GA area. * Ensure implementation of the PFMEA process in the GA area. * Ensure compliance with and tracking of GA area PFCMs. **KNOWLEDGE** * Global Mechanical Design Standards (GMD1\), Bill of Equipment (BOE), Bill of Process (BOP), Bill of Material (BOM), Manufacturing Systems Qualifications (MSQ), Conveyors. **SKILLS** * Budget knowledge, management of work equipment, supplier administration, effective presentations, updating of PCPs, handling of BPDs, project planning, digitalization apps, Windows software proficiency, AI. **EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / LANGUAGES** * University degree preferred: Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * 2 \- 3 years of experience. * English proficiency level: 75% (spoken/written). **RECOMMENDED PREVIOUS POSITIONS** * Maintenance Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing. **OTHER COMPETENCIES** 1\.
