About the Role As a Manufacturing Engineer I, you’ll play a vital role in advancing Watlow’s business strategy by implementing lean manufacturing principles, developing new production processes, and supporting initiatives that drive operational excellence. You’ll be part of a team focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and customer satisfaction, helping ensure that our engineering practices meet the highest industry standards. What You’ll Do * Implement and support lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives. * Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes to enhance quality and efficiency. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams on new product introductions (NPI) and production scaling. * Conduct PFMEA analyses and identify opportunities for risk reduction. * Provide day\-to\-day support to manufacturing operations, addressing production challenges in real time. * Drive projects that lead to cost savings, process reliability, and customer satisfaction. **What we are looking for:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field). * 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering (internship and professional). * Experience with vision systems, programming, and electrical/electronic technologies. * Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. * Familiarity with CAD software and simulation tools. * Experience with PFMEA, process documentation, and project management. * Strong collaboration, analytical, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to communicate effectively across teams and take initiative in fast\-paced environments.
