CAD Engineer

Description

##### **Responsibilities:** * Design and develop 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD), ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulatory standards. * Create and maintain part libraries, assemblies, and associated drawings, including tolerances, surface finishes, and technical notes required for manufacturing. * Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to validate designs, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate transfer to production. * Generate technical documentation (bills of materials, specifications, detail and assembly drawings) and support design reviews. * Participate in design for manufacturability (DFM) analysis, improvement proposals, and cost reduction through geometric optimization and process selection. * Support implementation and maintenance of CAD standards, best practices, and version control within PDM/PLM systems. * Identify and communicate technical risks, estimate modeling time, and collaborate on task prioritization within the team. ##### **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience working with CAD software (CATIA, NX). * Solid knowledge of technical drawing, geometric tolerancing, and manufacturing processes. * Proficiency with PDM/PLM systems and version control; ERP experience is an advantage. * Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for bill-of-materials creation and basic analysis. * **Minimum English level B2** (technical reading and basic communication with suppliers). * Analytical ability, attention to detail, clear communication, and collaborative teamwork in multidisciplinary teams. * Experience with Class A surfaces / Styling surfaces. * Experience with OEMs. ##### **What we offer:** * Competitive compensation package aligned with experience. * Flexible working hours and hybrid work options depending on role. * Recognition programs and awards, company events, family activities, and educational discounts. * Pay equity and an inclusive workplace.
