**REGIONAL INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR AGRICULTURAL HEALTH** **Recruiting for its Representation in Mexico** **PROJECT COORDINATOR "PVIF INSPECTION"** **POSITION DESCRIPTION** Supervise operational and administrative activities of the Phytosanitary and Zoosanitary Inspection System at inspection sites, aiming to strengthen emerging animal health measures under the National Animal Health Emergency Device (DINESA), to prevent the spread of cattle grub. **JOB REQUIREMENTS** * University degree in Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, Biology, Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, or related fields. * Minimum two (2\) years of experience in similar positions. * Willingness to travel and relocate if necessary. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Assist in responding to health emergencies according to established protocols. * Support review of supporting documentation submitted with animal consignments, verifying compliance with applicable regulatory provisions governing their movement. * Conduct physical inspection of animals, examining both sides of the handling chute and inspecting all body parts, with special attention to wounds, injuries, or presence of myiasis. * Record relevant information regarding inspected consignments—including data from the Animal Health Movement Certificate (CZM) and other supporting documents—in the Integrated Verification and Inspection Points System (SIPVI) or in the Daily Inspection Record (RDI), in accordance with current regulations on animal movement. **OFFERED:** * Salary: $16,900 MXN gross per month * Statutory benefits * Contract with a defined probationary period ending upon project completion.
