We are competent, capable and we invest in our people and in our processes to ensure we continue to grow and do our best work every day. **Equality and Diversity** *Mergon is committed to the principle of equal opportunities in employment, and to ensure that no job applicant or employee receives less favorable treatment on the grounds of race, color, nationality, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age, ethnic and national origin, disability, or gender reassignment.* **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervises the administration of the Quality Management System (QMS), updates, standardizes, maintains and improves the Quality Management System (QMS) and its processes by evaluating them, generates incidents, requests corrective, preventive and improvement actions * It is responsible for controlling, maintaining and conserving documented information, creating, updating and controlling changes to controlled documents, as well as their distribution, access, recovery, use, storage, preservation, conservation and disposal * Responsible for maintaining ISO\-9001 certification. Serves as lead auditor for ISO\-9001, leads and coordinates internal audits, as well as the audit team; Supports internal and client audits. Leads corrective and preventive actions to ensure quality requirements * Provide support for the planning, control and optimization of the organization's processes (QMS) according to the defined requirements and objectives and ensure quality in each of the processes. Supports defining quality standards **To be successful in this role, you will likely have:** * Accomplish internal and external audits * Update the control of the documents in the system * Accomplish with the action plan regarding the audits * Close the internal / external Non conformities in case it´s need it. * Asure the good function of the quality lab * Improve and Maintain the Operational KPI´s according to Mergon Mexico Standard: * OEE 90% * Scrap 1% **Essential Skills \& Experience**: * Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Quality, or related field; or 5\+ years of proven Sr Quality Eng. experience. * Minimum \+5 years of quality experience * Automotive industry experience (ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 preferred). + Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. + Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with high attention to detail. + Self\-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently or collaboratively. + Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. + Familiarity with customs, trade compliance, and import/export regulations. + Proficiency in English **Preferred Skills \& Experience:** * Master’s degree. * Experience with plastics manufacturing.
