Focus on occupational safety and good manufacturing practices **Job Objective:** Operate machinery and execute production processes safely, efficiently, and in compliance with food quality and safety standards, contributing to the achievement of production goals and the Food Safety Management System. **Functions and Responsibilities:** * Operate and adjust assigned machinery according to established procedures. * Monitor the production process, including weight controls and finished product verification. * Record operational information (batches, volumes, deviations) in the corresponding forms. * Accurately identify materials and in-process products. * Promptly report detected failures, anomalies, deviations, or risks. * Comply with quality standards, food safety (FSSC 22000\), good manufacturing practices, and hygiene regulations. * Apply controls to prevent physical, chemical, and biological contamination, as well as cross-contamination. * Participate in equipment and facility cleaning and disinfection. * Properly handle waste to avoid contamination. * Correctly use personal protective equipment and comply with occupational safety regulations. * Identify and report unsafe conditions. * Collaborate to meet production targets and work effectively in teams. * Support additional activities as required by operational needs. **Food Safety and FSMS Responsibilities:** * Comply with and monitor controls defined in the hazard analysis (CCP/PRP). * Understand and apply the food safety policy and objectives. * Contribute to the implementation of prerequisite programs (PRPs). * Timely communicate any situation impacting food safety. * Support fraud prevention and food defense initiatives. * Maintain awareness of one’s role in the effectiveness of the FSMS and report nonconformities. **Basic Profile:** * Education: Junior high school or equivalent (senior high school preferred). * Experience: Machinery operation in production environments (food industry experience preferred). * Knowledge: Good manufacturing practices, industrial safety, and food safety. * Skills: Attention to detail, teamwork, responsibility, and adherence to regulations.
