Industrial Design Manager

At Spiral México, we are seeking an Industrial Design Manager with strategic vision, operational focus, and strong technical capability to lead the development of POP displays, metal structures, and customized point-of-sale solutions. You will be responsible for transforming commercial and production requirements into functional, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs, ensuring proper integration among design, production, procurement, and operations. Key responsibilities: * Lead the industrial design department and supervise the design team. * Develop and validate POP display designs, commercial furniture, and metal structures. * Prepare technical drawings, part lists, exploded views, and bill of materials (BOM). * Ensure design manufacturability considering processes such as sheet metal rolling, MIG welding, electrostatic painting, and assembly. * Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Operations, and Sales to ensure on-time delivery and cost compliance. * Optimize materials, processes, and costs from the design stage onward. * Track projects from concept through plant release. Requirements: * Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 5 years of industrial design experience in the metalworking, commercial furniture, or POP display industry. * SolidWorks proficiency is mandatory. * In-depth knowledge of sheet metal, bending, profiles, wire, welding, and production processes. * Experience managing personnel and leading teams. * Strong analytical ability, organizational skills, and decision-making capacity.
