Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager with expertise in operations management, tractor-trailer maintenance, and personnel supervision to optimize operations, profitability, and service quality. Monitoring service indicators and coordinating roadside assistance. **Company specializing in tractor-trailer distribution seeks:** **WORKSHOP MANAGER** **EXPERIENCE:** * Experience managing workshops * Experience managing personnel * Experience/Knowledge of tractor-trailer maintenance * Engineering/Degree or related field **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Manage available workshop resources to optimize service turnaround times, available personnel, and improve service department profitability. * Monitor service indicators (workshop dwell time, training, workshop productivity). * Track additional repairs identified during vehicle inspections for quotation and promptly inform customers to enable timely repairs. * Generate profitability for the distributor. * Provide feedback on completed work and delivery dates to ensure timely customer notification regarding their vehicles. * Schedule equipment calibration, maintenance of production facilities, and procurement of necessary tools for workshop operations. * Complete required training courses and enhance customer relations through training. * Coordinate roadside assistance dispatches. * Ensure quality of all workshop repairs through random quality checklists or road tests as applicable. * Advise technicians on high-complexity diagnostics and repairs, as well as on standard repair times, avoiding excessive wait times and ensuring proper repairs. **WE OFFER:** * Base salary + commissions * Statutory benefits * Meal vouchers * Life insurance * Discounts at partner establishments * And more Employment type: Full-time Salary: $10,661.69 – $24,081.69 per month Benefits: * Life insurance * Complimentary uniforms * Meal vouchers Work location: On-site employment
