Parque Industrial Aeropuerto Querétaro **PXI Automotive** is a Chinese-origin automotive company specialized in manufacturing metal components for thermal exchange systems. We are currently seeking to add a **Casting Specialist Foundry Supervisor** to our team, with experience in non-production procurement management. **Job Objective** Ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, quality, and timing, always prioritizing **safety** and optimizing available resources. Coordinate foundry personnel and guarantee compliance with company safety and behavioral standards. **Main Responsibilities** **Production, Quality and Safety** * Achieve assigned production according to schedule, ensuring quality and delivery times. * Supervise the safe and correct operation of equipment, prioritizing personnel safety. * Ensure records and controls defined in the quality plan are properly maintained. * Halt processes when adequate safety or quality conditions are not met, following escalation procedures. **Organization, Documentation and Processes** * Maintain order and cleanliness in the area using the 5S methodology. * Ensure proper completion of documentation required by the control plan. * Escalate any equipment or service anomalies to the Manager. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and report opportunities to superiors. **Safety, Environment and Conduct** * Participate in safety brigades, inspections, environmental programs, and emergency response teams. * Comply with safety, quality, environmental policies, and the PXI Mexico Code of Conduct and Ethics. * Maintain confidentiality of all company-generated information. **Personnel Management** * Supervise employee attendance and enforce regulations in case of deviations. **Requirements Education** * Degree in Industrial, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Materials Engineering or related field. **Experience** * 3–5 years in casting processes (aluminum, iron, steel, die casting, sand casting, etc.). * Supervision of operational teams in manufacturing plants. * Basic handling and operation of furnaces, molds, injection machines, and cooling systems. * KPI management (scrap, efficiency, cycle times, safety). * Advanced intermediate English **Technical Knowledge** * Basic metallurgy and material behavior. * Molding, injection, solidification, and heat treatment processes. * Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications. * Quality control of cast parts (porosity, defects, NDT testing). * Lean, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies. * Industrial safety regulations and handling of hot materials. **We Offer** * Competitive salary (based on experience). * Direct hiring and job stability. * Professional development in an international environment.
