Cost and condition analysis to ensure quality and service PURCHASING ANALYST Indexmedical, a short-stay clinic specializing in outpatient medical care, is seeking talent as a Purchasing Analyst with experience in the healthcare sector for the procurement of pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, equipment, surgical instruments, and general purchases. Position Objective: To procure products and services supporting the Clinic’s operations, ensuring delivery quality, supply timeliness, and compliance with all internal company regulations. REQUIREMENTS * Education: Administrative or related degree. * Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the healthcare sector purchasing pharmaceuticals and supplies for clinics and/or hospitals. (Requisitions, comparative quotations, purchase orders, purchase follow-up, etc.) * Experience in supplier negotiation and management. * Valid driver’s license. * Availability of time. RESPONSIBILITIES * Procure supplies and services according to received requirements to ensure timely supply across various departments and projects, guaranteeing required items are available in inventory for continuous clinic operations. * Analyze optimal conditions and costs with each supplier to obtain the best balance of quality, service, and cost, in accordance with internal controls. * Monitor the process from supplier fulfillment of supplies or services through receipt into inventory, ensuring compliance with required specifications. * Generate purchase orders based on approved quotations, ensuring accurate inclusion of product details, quantities, prices, and delivery terms. * Negotiate with suppliers. * Compile a list of reliable, reputable suppliers in the market. * Supervise control and tracking of warranties and returns with suppliers. * Accounts payable control and reporting. * Support internal audits related to this area.
