Ensure material availability and productive capacity. 10 hours ago 7 Years of Experience ### **Job Description** Totum Talent is currently searching for a Production Planning Manager for an industrial equipment distribution company located in Monterrey. **Objective** * Plan, coordinate, and optimize production by efficiently managing resources, capacities, and customer demand—ensuring on-time delivery, service levels, and operational profitability. **Responsibilities** * Develop the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with demand and installed capacity. * Ensure material, capacity, and resource availability. * Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Engineering, Logistics, and Sales departments. * Monitor key performance indicators (OTD, efficiency, inventory levels). * Manage operational risks and contingency plans. * Lead planning and scheduling teams. * Translate commercial forecasts into feasible operational plans. * Analyze variances between actual and forecasted demand. * Define optimal inventory levels (raw materials, WIP, and finished goods). * Align production plans with material supply schedules. * Confirm and collaborate with customers on delivery dates. ### **Requirements** **Experience** * 7 \- 10 years of experience in production planning * 7 years of experience in metal-mechanical processes * 5 – 7 years of direct client interaction and requirements management **Knowledge** * Excel * ERP systems * Production planning systems / MRP (Material Requirements Planning) * Inventory control * Plant-level production scheduling * Metal-mechanical processes * Performance indicators
