**Your Job** Develop detailed production schedules according to required volumes, plant capacity, and material availability, monitor actual production figures, and prepare adjustments to schedules when necessary, aiming to optimize shipping costs to meet customer demands on time and at the lowest possible cost. Understand inventory levels for proper management of production plans **Our Team** Your decisions are the basis for production execution, material purchasing, and meeting sales dates and customer commitments. You will interact with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, Production Supervisor and Leader, Receiving Quality, Shipping, Customer Service Representatives, Product Managers, Purchasing Department, Customs, Product Engineering, and Component Warehouse. **What You'll Do** * Release manufacturing orders and convert them into production orders. * Balance workloads across work centers by releasing production orders, considering priorities and capacity to achieve metrics (Molex Promise Date or MPD and Customer Request Date CRD). * Track customer orders through open order reports (ZVRR3086\). * Run MRP for components and expedite them to suppliers when necessary to prevent late final product deliveries to customers. (Z9mm68, ZMRR3109, /N/GIB/DCO). * Maintain constant contact with Customer Service through CIC's For Expedites. * Follow up on confirmed finished goods using report ZVRR3086 to ensure that documentation (Delivery Note) is generated and shipments are made. * Participate in product transfers with project coordinators and assigned transfer teams to understand future requirements and material needs. * Ensure correction requests for transaction errors and negative COGI's (system errors) by running reports to avoid inventory discrepancies and follow up with the material controller. * Understand, support, and contribute to the fulfillment of the PBM Philosophy, various Quality Management, Safety and Hygiene standards, Six Sigma, RBA (Responsible Business Alliance), ISO, IATF, and CTPAT/OEA by following established policies and procedures. **Who You Are (Basic Requirements)** * Completed undergraduate degree * CPIM is considered a plus * 2 to 3 years of experience in planning area preferred and/or manufacturing environments (supply chain or operations). **What Gives You an Advantage** * Knowledge and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. * Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems * APICS certification is considered a plus * Production planning and control * Effective communication * Customer orientation * Proactive and process-focused * Committed and results-driven At Koch, we are entrepreneurs.
