




Job Summary: Lead and supervise all kitchen operations, ensuring culinary quality, cost control, efficiency and compliance with health regulations, as well as resource management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design and updating of innovative menus aligned with the concept. 2. Training and supervision of kitchen staff. 3. Cost control, budgeting and inventory management for the area. **PARLA BOSQUES IS SEEKING A CHEF** Your objective will be: To plan, lead and supervise all kitchen operations, ensuring culinary quality, cost control, operational efficiency and compliance with health regulations, as well as proper management of human, material and financial resources in the area. * Design, standardize and update menus according to the business concept, seasonality and costs. * Supervise proper preparation, presentation and quality of dishes. * Ensure compliance with standardized recipes and portion sizes. * Control service timing and workflow in the kitchen. * Train and supervise kitchen staff (sous chefs, cooks, assistants). * Innovate dishes and gastronomic proposals aligned with the restaurant’s identity. * Supervise proper food handling (storage, rotation, portioning). * Prepare and monitor the kitchen department budget. * Control food and beverage costs (food cost). * Conduct periodic inventories of supplies, equipment and utensils. * Manage orders to suppliers and negotiate prices and terms. * Analyze waste and propose corrective actions. * Supervise proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment. * Prepare operational and administrative reports (consumption, costs, productivity). * Coordinate staff schedules, roles and attendance tracking. * Support hiring and evaluation processes for kitchen staff. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Gastronomy, Culinary Arts or related field. * Administration (budgeting, inventory management, purchasing). * Food hygiene and safety standards. * Proficiency in Excel and/or restaurant management systems (ERP, POS).
